About Luon Cave
Located on Bo Hon Island about 14 km southeast of Tuan Chau Island and only 1 km from Sung Sot Cave, Luon Cave is the paradise of spectacular nature and dreaming landscapes. It is not a cave you can walk into but an open gate visitors can only travel by boat to get here. The area is essentially a group of islands that build a brackish lake inside. Luon Cave is one of the most appealing attractions for years when cruising on Halong Bay.
The cruise ships are not allowed entering inside the lake but anchored near the entrance. Tourists could choose between kayaking or small boats to get into the cave. After passing through under the gate with the 4-meter width, 60-meter length, and about from 2.5 to 4-meter height depending on the tide level, visitors will come across a tranquil round lake formed by an enclosed group of limestone mountains.
